Three members of the Huntington University softball team have been recognized by the Crossroads League for their standout seasons, as Kinzie Mollenkopf and Makenzie Kline earned Second Team All-League honors while Jess Duvall was named Honorable Mention.

Mollenkopf collects her third career All-League nod after anchoring the Foresters in the circle all season. The junior ace compiled a 17-10 record across 178 innings of work, tossing 22 complete games including three shutouts. She totaled 125 strikeouts (4.92 per game) while limiting opponents to a .256 batting average. Mollenkopf also posted a 3.11 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP.

Kline made an immediate impact in her freshman campaign, earning Second Team recognition as Huntington’s lead-off hitter. The speedy outfielder paced the team with a .423 batting average and 71 hits while scoring 37 runs and driving in 24. Equally impressive in the field, Kline committed just one error all season for a .991 fielding percentage, recording 115 chances and 110 putouts to earn a spot on the Gold Glove Team.

Duvall wraps up her Forester career with her third career All-League honor, landing on the Honorable Mention Team. The senior third baseman hit .347 with 52 hits, 16 RBI and a team-best 43 runs scored. She also leaves her mark in the program record book, finishing her career as Huntington’s all-time leader in walks (74) and hit by pitch (27).
