Huntington University Raises Over 13,000 lbs. of Food for Huntington County Residents
The results are in! Huntington University raised over 13,000 lbs. of food! This is the highest and most we have ever raised for our Huntington County residents since the start of the competition!
Erin Didion (HU alumna) at Love INC was very happy to pick up all those donations last Friday.
Special recognition goes to Cory Dunivan and his classmates for calling for donations, broadcasting the volleyball game, and promoting the event to recruit sponsors and donations.
The Friesen Student Leadership Team worked hard to distribute barrels for collection throughout our town as well as create a yearly contest between the residence halls, commuters, and staff and faculty.
The commuter team is the winner of the on-campus competition and will display their trophy in the Commuter Lounge until next year.
Meadows and Miller were our 2nd place winners and will display their trophy in the Meadows Hall lounge.
Thank you for all for the tremendous support of this important event!
