HU’s local chapter of Alpha Psi Omega (the national collegiate Thespian Honor Society) will be hosting its annual Reader’s Theatre Wednesday night!.

Come join the students as they present selections from 3 contemporary plays that look at female gender issues within the context of a male dominant society. Issues explored in the selected scenes will touch on (but are not limited to) female rights, gender parity and gender roles, including transgender. After the reading, there will be a thoughtful panel discussion with faculty members discussing the plays and how we, as Christians, can effectively, compassionately and sensitively respond to a constantly changing culture.

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 11, in Longaker Recital Hall in the lower level of the MCA from 7-8:30 pm. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
