PEER AWARD
Recipients of the Huntington University PEER AWARD for the month of October are Steve Pozezanac and Dr. Evelyn Priddy.
Tom King passed the PEER AWARD to Steve Pozezanac. Steve is Director of the Merillat Centre for the Arts and Conference Events and has been with HU for 10 years. In recognizing Steve, Tom writes “It is with appreciation for his help and servant attitude that I wish to pass the PEER AWARD to Steve Pozezanac. As we were preparing for our first track and field meet in several years on our campus, we sought Steve’s guidance in locating a sound system that would serve our needs for a large audience of 1500 to 2000 people. Steve got us several quotes and led us in the right directions for the event. He also picked-up the equipment for us from Fort Wayne when he was coming to campus, had two trained students assist in setting up the equipment on Friday and taking the equipment down in the evening. They were back in the morning to reconnect everything for Saturday and returned again to put the equipment away following the awards at the completion of the meet. What a great help for us on those two very busy days! I am sure Steve does this every day in helping people on campus and the community, but this was a special time for some of us and was especially helpful.”
Carla MacDonald passed the PEER AWARD to Evelyn Priddy. Evelyn serves as Professor of Education and has been with HU for 22 years. In recognizing Evelyn, Carla writes, “Dr. Evelyn Priddy has been supportive to me as a colleague and professor mentor during my entire time at Huntington University. She has shared classroom ideas, prayer support, guidance w/tenure and promotion, and confidence during time of transition. Dr. Priddy has been someone I can turn to at any time.”
