Encourage Students and Double Your Gifts to Forester Fund During Fall Phonathon

The Annual Fall Phonathon will take place over the next few weeks. We have 25 students who will make phone calls to friends and alumni of HU asking them to give to the Forester Fund. Every gift given during THIS PHONATHON ONLY will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. Our goal is to raise $100,000 this fall (including the match).

I would like to encourage faculty and staff to stop by the Phonathon room (upstairs in the Ad Annex) to encourage our student callers, or, better yet, to bring them a special snack! Feel free to pop in on any of the above dates (calling takes place from 7-9 pm each evening): October 7, 8, 10, 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30.

ONE MORE THING, if you would like to make a gift to the Forester Fund during this Phonathon, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Please drop your gift by the Phonathon room (in the evenings) or the Advancement Office (during the day) during the month of October and your gift will double! If you don’t have the cash right now, please let the Advancement Office know that you will give ($X amount) to the Forester Fund for the Phonathon by December 31. For those of you who like to make a gift to the University at year’s end, this is a great opportunity to double the impact of your gift.
