Faculty Advisers: Is TESOL an option for your students?

Yes it is! This is just a reminder that TESOL certification or a TESOL minor is a great option for any student pursuing any major. Cross cultural communication and training to teach speakers of other languages will be increasingly valuable for students entering any field here in the U.S. or abroad. TESOL certification can be completed with only 4 courses plus a practicum so it’s easy to fit into most students’ 4-year plan. The introductory Foundations of TESOL class is offered every fall and spring. And this January Foundations of TESOL will be offered for the first time during J-term providing even easier access for students wanting to test it out or start their certification.
