WOMEN’S GOLF

The Huntington women’s golf team carded a three-round total of 965 (+101) to secure a fourth-place team finish among 10 programs at the 54-hole Pretty Lake Intercollegiate, hosted by Bethel University at Pretty Lake Golf Club (Par 72).

Huntington posted rounds of 329, 316, and 320 across the two-day, 49-golfer field.

Sophomore Magnolia Miller (Greenwood, Ind.) paced the Foresters, earning All-Tournament Team accolades after tying for fourth place overall. Miller posted consistent scores throughout the tournament, firing back-to-back rounds of 79 before closing with a team-low 75 in the final round for a 54-hole total of 79-79-75—233 (+17).

Sophomore Aniyah Copeland (Archbold, Ohio) tied for 11th with a 54-hole tally of 79-75-84—238 (+22). Copeland’s tournament was highlighted by a personal-best round of 75 on the second 18.

Senior Madelyn Weaver (Claypool, Ind.) claimed a share of 22nd place with an 84-80-82—246 (+30), while senior Riley Kitson (Nappanee, Ind.) tied for 32nd at 87-82-88—257 (+41).

Freshman Adrianna Combs (Cincinnati, Ohio) competed in the final two rounds for Huntington, rebounding from an 85 in round two to fire a personal-best round of 79 on the final 18 (85-79—164, +20).

Huntington returns to the links on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21–22, when they travel to Winona Lake, Ind., to compete in the Stonehenge Invitational at Stonehenge Golf Club.
