The Huntington track & field teams wrapped up the 2026 season this week at the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship hosted at Karl Straus Track in Asheville from May 20-22 with sophomore Anna Jeannin leading the way by earning All-American honors in high jump.

Already an NAIA Indoor All-American earlier this spring after placing eighth at the indoor national meet, Jeannin added another national accolade to her growing resume by taking sixth in the outdoor competition despite entering the event as the No. 17 seed.

Her clearance of 1.70 meters not only marked a new personal record, but also moved her into a tie for second place in Huntington’s record books.

On the men’s side, Jayden Williams turned in the top finish for the Foresters in the 400 meters. Seeded 10th entering the event, Williams clocked the eighth-fastest time overall in the prelims with a mark of 46.94 seconds. Despite his time being among the top eight, he narrowly missed advancing to the finals due to the event’s qualifying format which automatically advances the four heat winners along with the next four fastest times.

Celestin Trambloy also exceeded expectations in the 400-meter hurdles by improving on his No. 22 seed to finish 14th overall in 53.21 seconds.

The Foresters were represented in the 4×800-meter relay by Benjamin Roberts, Lance Wyrick, Luis Flores and Jaden Kropp. The quartet posted a time of 7:46.92 to place 25th overall, matching their original seeding entering the meet.

University of the Cumberlands captured the men’s national title with 79 points while Indiana Tech finished runner-up with 49 points. On the women’s side, University of British Columbia claimed the championship with 101 points while Cumberlands placed second with 52 points.
