WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
The Huntington University women’s indoor track & field team opened its Indiana Tech Invite appearance on Friday with a strong all-around showing, highlighted by multiple podium finishes, a deep presence across sprint and middle-distance events, and a surge of all-time top-10 program performances in both track and field disciplines.

TOP PERFORMERS
Sprints
Junior Addyson Dowler led the Foresters in the short sprints, advancing to the finals of the 60 meters and finishing eighth overall with a time of 7.89. Dowler also competed in the 400 meters, while freshman Danielle McLaughlin represented Huntington in the 200 meters.
Middle Distance
Sophomore Olivia Howell delivered one of the team’s strongest performances of the meet, placing second in the 600 meters with a time of 1:37.60. Freshmen Anna Sullivan and Saniya Brinkley also competed in the event, finishing seventh and eighth, respectively.
In the mile, seniors MacKenzie Brewer and Shaylynn Reyes finished third and fourth, while Reyes added a third-place finish in the 3000 meters.
Field Events
The field events proved to be a major strength for Huntington, led by freshman Ariahlynn Stanger, who claimed first place in the high jump with a clearance of 1.58m. Sophomore Anna Jeannin matched that mark to finish second, while junior Trysta Hilton placed third.
Senior Brooklyn Simmons recorded a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.42m, while sophomore Emma Schiffli placed fifth in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.25m.
In the throws, freshman Maya Gerber continued her strong early-season form, finishing second in the shot put and third in the weight throw.
