Wireless Network Maintenance
On Friday, December 5, at 9:30 a.m., we will be renewing the certificates for our wireless authentication servers to improve security for the HU_Guest web page and for the devices.huntington.edu page. While this shouldn’t cause a problem for anyone already connected to HU_Secure, if you do you have issues, you can resolve them by following these instructions:
1) Forget the HU_Secure SSID.
2) Log back into the HU_Secure SSID using your network credentials.
3) If prompted, accept the certificate. The certificate will say it is from “Thomas.huntington.edu” or just “Thomas” if you are connecting in Indiana. It will say it is from “Lithium.huntington.edu” or just “Lithium” if you are in Arizona.
4) At this point, the wireless should connect, and you should be able to browse. If you are still having issues, please contact us at helpdesk@huntington.edu and we will be happy to help!
