Welcoming Dylan Coldsmith and Katie Springer to Marketing/University Relations

The marketing department is pleased to have Dylan Coldsmith and Katie Springer already hard at work in our office area! Dylan started last Monday and is our digital media specialist, focusing on photography and video, while Kate started this Monday and is our graphic designer.

Dylan graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in sports media: sports photography. He has worked with many professional teams and Division I universities, providing photography and videography services. He was the university photographer at Emporia State University in Kansas from 2021-2023 before shifting to freelance on a full-time basis. Dylan has roots in the heartland of United Brethren Country as he grew up in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and in fact, his parents were married at Mount Pleasant UB Church in Chambersburg.

Katie is from LaFontaine, Indiana, and is a 2022 graduate from HU with a degree in graphic design and double minors in fine art and marketing. She was on the golf team for all four years at HU and also made the dean’s list that same amount of time. She was a campus ministry coordinator (what are now sojourners) for two years. Katie has worked for the past three years at a commercial print shop, doing not only design but also production roles.

The marketing staff is now equipped to better handle your requests in a quality and timely fashion. If you need any photo/video/design/writing assistance, please complete one of the forms on this webpage: https://www.huntington.edu/university-relations/ask-university-relations. We have appreciated everyone’s patience for the past three months when we have been without a photographer or a graphic designer. But we have them now, so stop by the HUGO/Marketing suite on the first floor of Loew-Brenn to say hello to the whole marketing team!
