Visiting Fulbright Scholar Opportunity
Fulbright Outreach Lecturing Fund (OLF) resumes
We are pleased to announce that the Fulbright Visiting Scholar’s Outreach Lecturing Fund (OLF) has resumed accepting institutional applications to host eligible Fulbright Visiting Scholars for 2-5 day guest lecturing visits. Fulbright OLF expands the reach of the Fulbright program by strengthening Fulbright outreach and recruitment efforts in every state, region, and among all institution types. To participate in the OLF program, American institutions of higher education complete an application, including an event itinerary proposal. Applying institutions collaborate with the Fulbright Visiting Scholar, who will provide a letter of support from their host U.S. institution.
The Fulbright Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State. Federal agencies are celebrating the 250th anniversary of America’s founding through America250 activities, which showcase American history, highlight the beauty of the United States, and commemorate the American spirit of adventure and innovation. OLF visits should celebrate one or more of these America250 themes during the exchange.
OLF travel awards provide Fulbright Visiting Scholars at least $1,500 to cover travel, lodging, and meals.
Please share this opportunity with faculty and staff across campus. You can reach out to OLF@iie.org with questions and to verify your institutional eligibility.
