MEN’S TENNIS
The Huntington University men’s tennis team rolled to a commanding 7–0 victory over Cedarville on Saturday, showcasing depth and dominance across both singles and doubles play.
The Foresters made quick work in the top three singles spots, with Julian Tantera (6–1, 6–2), Santiago Sarudiansky (6–2, 6–4), and Martin Capdevilla (6–3, 6–3) each securing straight-set wins. Javier Lopez Real battled through the lone three-setter of the day, outlasting Pedro Noqueira 4–6, 6–4, 7–5 at No. 4 singles to keep HU’s perfect day intact.
Pablo Lopez Real (6–4, 6–3) and Juan Carrasco (6–1, 6–1) rounded out the sweep with strong performances at the back end of the lineup.
Huntington also swept the three doubles courts to secure the opening point. Tantera and Lopez Real cruised to a 6–0 win at No. 1 doubles, Pablo Lopez Real and Capdevilla won 7-6, while Sarudiansky and Carrasco delivered a 6–3 victory at No. 3.
With the sweep, the Foresters improve their record to 3-0 and continue to build momentum in the fall season.
