Weingart to Leave HU

After six years of service as vice president of advancement, Stephen Weingart is leaving HU to take the position of chief development officer at Florida Polytechnic.

Stephen wished to share these comments with the HU community: “It has been the honor of a lifetime to work at Huntington University. The decision to move was very difficult. The people here are truly the best. The friendships that we have built here will last a lifetime!”

Under Stephen’s leadership, the Step Forward campaign concluded in the summer of 2022 with a final tally of $56.6 million raised. That result was the largest campaign in HU history.

“I am grateful for Stephen’s commitment to HU”, stated President Rob Pepper. “As he and Beth transition to their next chapter in Florida, we are confident that the Lord will continue to use him to further The Kingdom.”

HU will immediately launch a national search for the next vice president of advancement.
