The Huntington women’s tennis team faced off against IU Kokomo Thursday night in their first non-conference matchup of the year. The host Foresters made quick work of their visitors by sweeping the Cougars 7-0 on Senior Night at Klopfenstein Courts.

The Crossroads League tournament is slated to begin on Tuesday, October 1st. The Foresters will head into the tournament as the fifth seed.

OTHER NOTABLES
HU seniors Esther Bolon and Courtney Rich were honored before the match. Tonight’s shutout was HU’s third of the season.
