TRACK & FIELD

The Huntington outdoor track and field program took a partial squad to Tennessee for Lee University’s Last Chance Meet over the weekend for one last opportunity to earn a spot at NAIA Nationals.

Junior Emily Tedder punched her ticket to the big stage by hitting the provisional mark in the 1500 meters in 4:39.20. Sophomore Mackenzie Brewer also claimed a B standard in the steeplechase by crossing the line in a personal best 11:27.13.

Reece Gibson clocked in at 1:56.21 in the 800 meters which proves the seventh fastest time in program history.
