Tamra Williams to join Haupert Institute
Tamra Williams will be joining the Haupert Institute for Agricultural Studies this fall as assistant professor of agricultural education. Williams has seventeen years of experience teaching high school horticulture, agriculture, and biology in Nevada and Tennessee. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural science and technology from the University of Idaho, a Master of Education degree in educational leadership from University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and a Master of Education degree in educational administration from Sierra Nevada College. She is currently enrolled in an EdD program in education leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2018, Williams was named Nevada ACTE Teacher of the Year. In 2019, she was named Nevada Agricultural Educator of the Year.
