Mock Trial for HU’s Pre-Law Club Eunomia

Two men enter, one man leaves! Tony Sturmanis and Michael Harmon played for rival professional hockey teams, and in a tense match-up at the Midlands Marauders’ hockey arena, they tangle and Sturmanis dies. Prosecutors contend that Harmon entered the rink with the intent to maim or even kill. Can they prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt? HU’s pre-law club, Eunomia, is staging a mock trial to weigh the question of Harmon’s guilt, complete with opening statements, eyewitness testimony, closing arguments, and most important, the verdict! The trial is open to the public and free of charge in the MCA’s Longaker Recital Hall on Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m.
