WOMEN’S TENNIS

The Huntington women’s tennis team picked up their first league win of the year in convincing fashion by sweeping Mount Vernon, 7-0, Thursday afternoon at Klopfenstein Courts. Since these two squads first starting squaring off in 2017, HU has dominated the series 7-0.

The Foresters made quick work of the Cougars (1-7, 1-6), giving up just four games in doubles before singles were all straight sets wins. HU (2-6, 1-5) is back at it on Saturday when they host Grace at 1:00 p.m.
