Final PLEX Beam

Huntington University continues to be excited and eager with anticipation regarding the PLEX renovation and expansion project. It is hard to believe the project officially started one year ago, in early July 2022. As we look to hold true to a construction tradition and recognize a milestone in the timeline of the project, the final steel beam for the new east addition construction will be available for members of the Forester Family to sign. We would like to extend an invitation to our employees and students to sign the beam on campus from Monday, July 10 through Thursday, July 13. This final beam, painted white in preparation for signatures, will be staged in the west portion of the PLEX parking lot. Those who sign the beam will be captured as key supporters during this moment in HU’s history. On Friday, July 14, the beam will then be raised into place, as a permanent component of the PLEX.
