Women’s Cross Country Claim Academic Excellence Award

Each year an Academic Excellence Award is given to the HU athletic team with the highest team grade point average for the year. This year the women’s cross country team claimed the top spot for 2022-23 with a team GPA of 3.542. It’s the fourth straight year the program has earned this designation.

“I want to congratulate all of our student-athletes for their outstanding academic performance on the year,” said HU athletic director Lori Culler. “With 14 of our teams tallying a 3.0 or higher GPA and each program posting a 2.7 or better, our student-athletes continue to maintain a high standard of excellence in the classroom as well as on the playing field. Well done Forester STUDENT-athletes!”
