Save the Date – New Student Advising Day May 13

Faculty, please read this entire post and share with your colleagues who may not be Forester Feed faithfuls!

There are several changes to our new student registration this year. First, we are changing the name to New Student Advising Day. Since students will be pre-registered by the Office of the Registrar starting in March, this name change will help with clarity for our prospective students.

Second, due to the calendar change and prospective student preferences, we are offering ONE date this year rather than two. We hope that by offering one date, we will have bigger attendance and be able to create more fun vibes on campus for our incoming new students!

Other than these two major changes, the event will run similarly to the previous two years. Please be on the lookout for emails from the Office of the Registrar asking about which faculty will be hosting the advising session and the location for the session as we get nearer to the event. Please be aware that since we will only have one date this year and our incoming class may be a bit larger this year, you may want to consider what changes or accommodations could be made if you have a larger group of advisees on May 13.
