HoopDirt.com presented by Just Play Solutions recently named HU men’s basketball coach Kory Alford the NAIA Coach of the Week.

Alford and crew are coming off a 2-0 last week which included a 60-59 win over #6 Indiana Wesleyan on Wednesday. It was their second straight victory over a Top 10 opponent having beaten then ranked #6 Grace 75-70 the previous Saturday. This past Saturday the Foresters extended their win streak to four with an 88-74 decision over Bethel.

With five regular season games remaining, HU (17-6) is sitting in second in the league standings behind Grace and Wesleyan with a 9-4 CL record.
