Updated Weekly Faculty Reports
The Office of Admissions and IT have made some significant updates to the weekly faculty reports! The goal was to make the reports easier to use so that faculty can easily identify students who would benefit from a personal contact. Here are the changes we made to reduce the data in the list to what you told us was important to you:
- Removed students who have not yet applied to HU, making it easier to identify students who are truly interested in attending HU
- Adjusted the columns to make it easier to sort by status and date
- Removed some unnecessary columns
We hope these changes will be helpful! I know many departments are using these reports weekly to connect with their recent applicants, admits, and commits — thank you! If your department needs more blank postcards, please send a quick email, and I’ll get some in campus mail for you! Emails and phone calls (even if you leave a message) are also encouraged after students make a status change. Your efforts truly make a difference.
We will continue to work on improvements in this process, including a form you can use to enter any notes on your interactions. If we can make this happen, it will import into SEM so we all know what has been communicated to students. Stay tuned.
