Five Foresters were recognized as All-League honorees as announced by the Crossroads League earlier this afternoon.

For the second straight season, junior Morgan Robrock (Huntington, Ind.) was tabbed a Second Team All-League pick. The 6-0 setter ran the show for Herber and crew by handing out 1,005 assists (8.17 assists per set). She also posted 291 digs (2.37 digs per set), 88 kills, 28 blocks and 18 aces. To date, she has racked up 2,237 career assists.

A member of the All-Freshman Team last season, sophomore Kortney Grimm (Gahanna, Ohio) joined Robock on the Second Team this season. The 6-0 outside hitter finished with a team-leading 315 kills for a 2.60 kill per set average. She played all the way around to also collect 283 digs, 35 assists, 28 aces and 23.5 blocks.

Freshman Layla Meyer’s impact on the program was immediate and for her efforts was named Second Team All-League in addition to landing a spot on the All-Freshmen Team. The 5-3 defensive specialist from Monroeville (Ind.) anchored HU’s backline as evidenced by tracking down a team-best 538 digs (4.41 digs per set). She also finished with 67 assists and a team-high 43 aces.

Senior Tya Bynum (Indianapolis, Ind.) earned her second Honorable Mention All-League praise. The 5-9 middle posted 220 kills on 540 swings for a team-leading .228 hitting percentage. She was a threat at the net defensively as well having logged 28 solo stuffs while assisting 58 others for 57 total blocks.

Freshman Haley Kruse (Auburn, Ind.) caught the eye of the league coaches to be voted Honorable Mention All-League. The 5-7 outside hitter finished second on the team in kills with 293 to average 2.62 kills per set. Additionally, she collected 39 aces and 14 blocks on the year.

Huntington wrapped up the season with an overall record of 15-18.
