MEN’S GOLF

Earlier in the week, the Huntington men’s golf team spent two days at Noble Hawk Golf Links for the Saint Francis Cougar Fall Invitational where they finished second as a team with a 635 (323-312).

Quin Edwards finished 8th with a 13-over-par 155 (79-76) to lead the Foresters. Carter Roseboom carded a 157 (81-76) for 11th place. Peyton Richmond (161)and Kaleb Ketchum (163) finished 18th and 19th respectively.

Brenner Lampton (85-80) and Trevor Simon (82-83) each fired a 165 to share a piece of 22nd place. Other scores for HU included Colby Martin (27th, 168) and Evan Walsh (28th, 173).

Taylor topped the field with a 587 followed by HU (635), William Penn (638), Saint Francis (646) and Holy Cross (712).

Huntington hits the road for Wisconsin for the Whistling Straights Championship on October 16-18.
