Colby Martin posted a 156 (77-79) for 27th place. Quin Edwards shot a 159 (76-83) while Carter Roseboom scored a 167 (83-84). Playing was an individual was Brenner Lampton who finished with a 158 (81-77).
“The guys played hard this weekend,” said Coach Connor Dwyer. “We had a great opening round and were in the tournament which has been awhile for HU golf. We fought on day two but struggled a little coming in.
“But I was happy with the guys and they liked the taste of being in the tournament with a chance to win. We will grow and develop from this and it will only make us better but all in in all, I’m extremely happy for the first tournament of the year.”
Next up for Dwyer and crew is Olivet Nazarene’s Bill Johnson Fall Invitational on September 16-17.
