Welcome to Max Garwood, Our New Engineering Advisor
We are pleased to welcome Max Garwood as our engineering advisor. Mr. Garwood earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He also has a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Indiana University at Indianapolis. Max brings a wealth of experiences, including working for the Department of Defense as an electronics engineer, developing software, adjunct teaching, practicing general law, and working as a patent attorney.
The Engineering Advisor is a new part-time position that serves as the primary contact person and advisor for HU engineering students, meeting regularly with students and overseeing spaces and resources to support HU engineering students. The Engineering Advisor is a primary liaison with our partner institutions, reviewing registration procedures, program requirements, and equipment needed for courses. The Engineering Advisor also helps to promote our engineering programs, correspond with prospective engineering students, and attend community events.
We are excited to have Mr. Garwood serving in this position!
