FISCAL YEAR END REMINDERS

As the end of the fiscal year quickly approaches, please be aware of the following regarding purchases and payment of invoices:

  1.  The accounting rule to record expenditures in 2021-2022 is that the goods and services must be received prior to or on May 31, 2022. There is NO exception to this rule.
  2. Goods and services received after May 31, 2022, will be recorded in fiscal year 2022-2023.
  3. Please contact Joe (jpretorius@huntington.edu), Pam (prudy@huntington.edu), or Tammy (tgass@huntington.edu) in the Office of Business and Finance with any questions.
