MEN’S TENNIS

It was survive and advance for the Huntington men’s tennis team Tuesday afternoon at Wildwood Racquet Club as the 5th-seeded Foresters topped 4th-seeded Spring Arbor in convincing fashion, 4-0, in quarterfinal action of the Crossroads League Tournament.

Not only did the win avenge a 4-3 regular season loss to the Cougars but sends Poncio’s squad to the semifinals of the league tourney to face top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan on Thursday. The W bumps HU’s overall record to 8-6 on the year.
