HU freshman Shelby Christman dominated her first collegiate 5K to be named this week’s Crossroads League Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced earlier this afternoon.

Christman clocked in at 17:36 to win the IWU Twilight Invitational on Friday. She blew away the competition, finishing 15 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. Her first place finish helped guide the #10 Foresters to a fourth place finish out of 16 teams.

HU is back in action Friday to compete in the Ray Bullock Invitational.
