Swimming

Whether it is in a pool, at the lake, or the beach, swimming is one the of the most robust, whole-body workouts. When swimming, you are moving your entire body against the water’s resistance. There are many benefits to swimming, such as keeping your heart rate up while eliminating the impact stress on your body. Swimming is also a great cardiovascular workout and uses nearly all of your body’s muscles. A few important reminders are do not swim alone unless there is a lifeguard on duty, and never let children swim without adult supervision.
