The U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named the All-Academic Athletes for the 2021 NAIA Track & Field seasons with Huntington well-represented in both programs.

On the women’s side, sophomore Emma Wilson was tabbed the NAIA Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. She along with Jessica Chojnacki, Aspen Dirr, Sydney Lambert, Saige Norris, Carmen Trier, Olivia Von Gunten and Hannah Wappes were eight of more than 275 women who were deemed All-Academic Athletes in NAIA Women’s Track & Field.

Six Foresters from the men’s program were honored as NAIA Academic All-Americans which included Heath Atkins, Noah Bise, Adrien Gentie, Riley Meek, Josiah Sovine and Kent Yoder. Overall, there were more than 225 men who were named All-Academic Athletes in NAIA Men’s Track & Field.

To be named to this prestigious list, athletes must carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for either the indoor or outdoor season.
