Kent Eilers to present final Forester Lecture of the 2020-2021 series

Reminder: On Wednesday, April 21 in Zurcher Auditorium at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. Kent Eilers, professor of theology, will present the work that resulted in his fourth book, The Grammar of Grace.

Like Dr. Jeff Webb earlier this spring, Dr. Eilers has been selected by the Dean for this prestigious presentation of scholarly research.

Please consider attending as we reclaim our culture of sharing intellectually stimulating inquiries with the larger HU community in the (soon to be!) post-COVID world.

Details of a post-lecture reception for faculty will follow…

Finally, please encourage your students to attend. Some thoughts to share with students:

  1. They can reserve a seat in Zurcher through their iAttended app
  2. They can get chapel credit for attendance
  3. Professors may offer extra credit for attendance (email kdrury to have a sign-up sheet for your class(es) outside the auditorium)
  4. Attendance and participation in these types of events adds a different dimension to the college experience — there is more to HU than the classroom

Hope to see you and your students there!
