Goodbye to Anita Gray and Welcome to Noelle Keller

After a decade as Huntington University’s director of library services, Anita Gray is retiring, effective May 31. Anita’s professional passion is teaching information literacy. She says that unless we actually read, try to understand, and filter information through the truth of Scripture, we can get caught up in the thoughts of the world and might not be aware of what God wants us to know about our world and how we should interact with it. We are grateful for the ways Anita applied that outlook at Huntington University, and we wish her the best as she takes on her next adventure. 

As Anita steps away from the University, HU welcomes Noelle Keller as the director of library services and associate professor of library science for RichLyn Library. Noelle comes to Huntington after 20 years of service at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan, as a technical services librarian. She has also served as department chair for two three-year terms and served on several campus committees. Noelle has a Master of Library Science degree from Kent State University and a Master of Education degree from George Washington University. She has extensive experience in information literacy and has created programs and sessions to assist students in strengthening their research skills. In addition to her regular duties, Noelle is an active presenter at conferences, where she has given workshops on technical services, information literacy, and accountability for student employees.
