Thank you from the Department of Social Work
The Department of Social Work is up for reaffirmation in our national accreditation with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). This reaffirmation occurs every 7 years. The first step is an extensive process in completing a self-study which was submitted on August 1. Our self-study is now being reviewed by the CSWE. Sometime between December to February, a site visitor will be on campus to confirm the findings in the self-study review.
Samantha Sutorius and Carla MacDonald, Social Work faculty, would like to thank the many individuals who were involved in providing information and support for the completion of the self-study. A huge thanks goes to Joseph Petorius, Jean Cole, Pam Rudy, Lisa Montany, Anita Gray, Adam Skiles, Tim Bard, Josh Ringer, Tonya Horvath, Wendy Speakman, Tanner Babb and Margaret Pasko for your assistance in providing information for the social work self-study. We apologize if we missed anyone!!! We ask for your prayers during this reaffirmation process as a time to assert the quality of our program and also a time for reassessing how we can continue to serve our students in an excellent manner. Thank you all!
