Women’s Cross Country Claims Academic Excellence Award

Each year an Academic Excellence Award is given to the HU athletic team with the highest team grade point average for the year. The women’s cross country claimed the top spot for 2019-20 with a team GPA of 3.651.

“I want to congratulate all of our student-athletes for their outstanding academic performance on the year,” said HU athletic director Lori Culler.

“With five teams tallying a 3.5 or higher GPA and all 18 programs posting a 2.8 or better, our student-athletes continue to maintain a high standard of excellence in the classroom as well as on the playing field. Well done Forester STUDENT-athletes!”
