FISCAL YEAR END REMINDERS

Our fiscal year ends next week (May 31), so please be aware of the following regarding purchases and payment of invoices:
1. Purchase orders for fiscal year 2019-20 can no longer be requested.
2. The accounting rule to record expenditures in 2019-20 is that the goods and services must be received prior to or on May 31, 2020. There is no exception to this rule.
3. The Business Office will accept invoices and payments for 2019-20 expenses through June 15. Please clearly indicate on the invoice if it is to be recorded as a 2019-20 expense.
3. Goods and services received after May 31, 2020, will be recorded against the 2020-2021 budget.
