Mission Moment

Pillar I of the Faith Forward 2022 strategic plan focuses on the Huntington University experience. There are a multitude of ways that HU strives to enrich the opportunities and experiences for the Forester Family – for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. This past weekend was the opening for “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!” Watching our talented students and campus community, guided by our first-class faculty and staff, put on a production like this resonates with the experiential component of HU. The hard work, dedication, talents, and abilities were on full display with this production. Opportunities like this enrich the experience for all…the students, faculty, staff, and others associated with delivering an incredible show were able to shine and put their God-given abilities in the spotlight. Additionally, those in attendance enjoyed laughs, energy, and a great story. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God’s handiwork and created for good works. Contributing to positive campus experiences like this is not only in alignment with God’s design for us, it also helps to further our university mission of promoting Christ through Scholarship and Service.
