Huntington University Retirement Plan

Huntington University is excited to announce to our employees that we have joined other member institutions from the Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) to establish a single retirement plan with multiple “adopting employers” called a 403(b) Multiple Employer Plan (MEP). We have chosen to adopt the MEP because it will offer you a diverse selection of investment options and expanded employee education services in addition to allowing Huntington to operate more efficiently.
To provide the best possible service to the employees at each participating campus, schools will be implementing the new MEP retirement plan in small groups in the months ahead. We expect to see many long-term advantages through the delivery of personalized and enhanced services and investment options for you as well as new efficiencies gained in the governance and administration of the retirement plan.

In the coming weeks, you will receive information on education meetings to allow you the opportunity to learn more about the 403(b) MEP, the new investment options, the financial planning available to all employees, options for help, and ways to sign up for individual meetings with a financial advisor.

We are excited to share this news with you.
