Mission Moment

On January 16-17, the Board of Trustees for Huntington University gathered for its winter retreat. When it comes to the mission and vision of our University, the Trustees are obviously an integral part. While observing the Trustees at work, it was inspiring to see such a clear display of commitment to protect our mission as a Christ-centered institution. With many opportunities for higher education institutions to sway with winds of change that can push them off course, Huntington University forges full steam ahead with Christ, Scholarship, and Service operating as the clearly identified navigation tools. Proverbs 16:9 reads, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” In light of this Scripture, it is truly energizing to see how our Trustees are working to help plan our course and will be exciting to see how the Lord establishes our steps.
