Junior Austin Schultz made program history this afternoon by being named the first HU bowler to earn Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Bowler of the Week honors as announced by the national office earlier today.

The Valparaiso native totaled 1,391 pins over the weekend at the USBC National Collegiate Team Match Games (Tier 1) to finish sixth overall out of 195 bowlers. His six-game average was an impressive 231.8.

The Foresters finished 16th out of 27 teams with a pin total of 9,538 which includes 20 baker games and six regular games. Next up for Shockey’s crew is the third WHAC Jamboree on December 7.
