Keirsh Cochran selected as new Police Chief
I am pleased to announce that Keirsh Cochran will become Huntington University’s third Police Chief. Keirsh graduated from HU in 2013 and received a master’s degree in public administration/criminal justice from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2019. Keirsh has served both the Auburn and Fort Wayne Police Departments. As a member of the Fort Wayne Police Department, Keirsh received a meritorious service citation. Keirsh left broadcasting (his major) to pursue a career in law enforcement. His father, a police chief himself, has been a mentor for Keirsh in the process. Keirsh will begin his service at HU on November 18. Keirsh will also teach in our criminal justice program. When you see Keirsh, please give him a hearty Forester welcome!
