Huntington University senior Meg Dolde and sophomore Morgan Fitzpatrick have been invited to represent the Midwest region in doubles play at the 2019 ITA Cup slated for October 17-20 in Rome, Ga.

The duo stormed through the ITA Regional Championships last month to eventually land a spot in the finals of the main draw doubles bracket where they earned runner-up bragging rights. Because the doubles champions are unable to participate at the national event, the HU pair has been selected to compete in their place.

Four divisions of collegiate tennis will converge on the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College to take part in the 2019 ITA Cup. More than 8,000 athletes took part in a total of 60 regional tournaments to gain entry into the ITA Cup field.
