Chapel Oct. 1 – Chris Lahr

Chris Lahr was born and raised in Huntington, IN but spent the last twenty years living in inner city Philadelphia. Chris helped run a mentoring program called Timoteo (Spanish for Timothy) that used sports to mentor and disciple urban youth (www.timoteosports.org). Chris has a passion to see Jesus manifested to people at the street level and to see youth step into leadership roles in their community. In June, 2019 Chris moved with his family to Fort Wayne so his wife could fulfill her dream of becoming a midwife. Chris is currently laying the groundwork to start a sports mentoring program in Fort Wayne called MVP Sports.
