WOMEN’S TENNIS
The HU women’s tennis team was on the wrong end of a 6-1 decision to #9 Indiana Wesleyan Saturday morning at Klopfenstein Courts. The talented Wildcat squad had their hands full with the Foresters despite the final score.
The top three singles matches were three-set thrillers with Meg Dolde taking down Lizzie Bauss at the top spot, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4. The loss is Bauss’ first of the year at #1 singles.
The Wildcats have a perfect 10-0 record and have only given up three points on the year, which includes Dolde’s win today, with the other two points recorded by #25 Marian.
Huntington (5-4, 3-3) is at it again on Tuesday with a match at Goshen at 4:30 p.m.
