Chapel Sept. 12 – LaToria

With an energy all her own, LaToria brings an eclectic feel to the hip hop music she makes. Whether it’s a high energy anthem or a story she’s telling accompanied by soulful melodies, she aims to display hope through her lyrics while providing an unforgettable experience. She writes about life from a Gospel-centered perspective, serving out what she refers to as ​“Grown Woman Bars” – the idea being that she is offering music from a woman’s perspective. It’s honest, vulnerable, relatable, and always pointing towards truth in hopes that it will yield ​growth and maturity for herself as well as the listener.

In 2016 she was nominated for a Kingdom Choice Award and was also featured by Her Source, a division of The Source Magazine, twice. She will be sharing about Spiritual Gifts.
