Honey party Thursday evening!

Ever wonder how honey is made? Join the HU Hort Club on Thursday as we extract honey that was produced by bees housed in our hives located right here on campus. Feel free to stop by for any length of time between 6:30-8:00 PM, in the Ware Greenhouse (science building, near the faculty parking lot) to see the process and lend a hand. Don’t worry, there won’t be any bees present (the honey frames are removed from the beehives earlier in the day).
