Forester Farewell
After much prayer and reflection, Dr. Susie Boyer, associate professor of education, has notified us that she will not be returning to Huntington University to teach this fall. She will be enjoying retirement after 17 years as a Huntington University educator. Though not a Forester by degree, Dr. Boyer is a Forester in heart, pouring her passion for teaching teachers into her students since 2002.
Not only was she a dedicated undergraduate educator, but she also directed the study program hosted at Thornhill Nature Preserve and taught in the graduate and adult programs. We will miss the heart and expertise of our fellow Forester but wish her the best in her future endeavors!
