Susanne Watson – Director of Admissions

On June 1, Susanne Watson officially became the director of admissions. She had been serving as assistant director with her primary focus on leadership for the undergraduate recruitment team. She has also collaborated with other campus leaders to host new student registration events and coordinate the efforts of the admissions team during new student orientation. A lot has been accomplished under Susanne’s leadership the last three years. We have increased applications each year, developed admitted student weekend (our largest recruitment event) and summer visit day. As the Director of Admissions, Susanne will also assume leadership for Operations within the undergraduate admissions office. This means leadership for direct mail campaigns, data entry and many other supports provided for recruitment. Susanne is a great organizer and a skillful collaborator who loves HU and supports students well. Please join me in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion.
